I guess I’m a creep too.

You see, I’m a computer scientist. I got my first computer when I was ten; it would choke and limp for an hour to draw a simple 3D senoid… But move forward a mere twenty years, and fully animated 3D idols are dancing in front of a live crowd. To think that such progress was made in such a short time fills my heart with joy and hope for the future.

That’s why, when I saw the videos, I also felt like crying a little. To think such beauty is already possible, so early in my lifetime… That indeed, the frontier between material and virtual is beginning to get blurred. And so the promise living within the heart of Machine inches ever so slightly closer to its realization…
