I must admit cats are insanely intelligent and cool, but they're also big assholes.
I'll stick with dumb dogs anyday. Dogs would take a bullet for you if they could, whereas cats would just turn stray after you get hit by the bullet and find a new home.
And theres a reason they coined the word "cat scratch fever." Its coz of the insane amounts of bacteria in their nails due to kitty litter and such.

If you can tollerate being miserable for 2 to 5 months your own immune system will build a tollerance so that you can have a cat of your own.

actually, if you endure for the first week or so, the allergic severity dies down.
i was CRAZY allergic to my cats, and now i only sneeze if i stick my face in their tummies and inhale deeply.
Yes they do. You can essentially immunize yourself with exposure, in some cases. That's how it is for my spouse and our cat. My spouse is pretty damn allergic to all cats except for ours. Extended exposure lessened the allergic reactions.
You probably didn't have much of an allergy to begin with.
Allergies don't just die down...
There is a solution to alergy for mor most people: if you're alergic to your cat, get another one.
Have no idea how it works, probably something like having vaccine, nevertheless it works. Checked, proved many times.

Cats are pretty awesome in general, and fairly low maintenance.
I still remember tornado kitty, the cat I owned which had a propensity for climbing on rails then falling and spinning crazily trying to right herself.
I had one named Splat because she would climb to the second story of my house, and then jump off, and go splat on the lawn below... I think it did a number on her brain though. I had to have her euthanized later on in life 'cause she went crazy.

I just caught a cat in my Possum trap on my porch. It has no collar. It's freezing cold outside. And It's been outside for about 2 hours. I don't know if I should let it in, And I don't know how to release the cat out of the trap. It's a special cage trap. It looks very adorable.
