I still think most westerners look wrong to make good cosplay. The visual impact they give is "horsey". Too hard, big noses, mouths are fail, many of these look too old. Costumes are mostly well done though. They should cosplay characters which are by definition western in manga or anime, then it may work. One image shows a group of Japanese girls, what a difference!

Honestly, there are many costumes to praise...quite a bunch less fail that to be expected.
