Sea sheperd are eco-terrorists, and deserve no support.

However, one cannot deny that bluefin tuna is a vulnerable and extremely overfished fish.

It grows and matures rather slowly.
At my coast, they have completely disappeared by overfishing.
catching them when they band together in their spawing grounds didn’t help much either.

But to those who deny it, it is not just three-huggers, or whale-huggers saying it. All the scientists say it. I even remember reading it in a japanese (eng. version) pro-whaling article once.

In this case, the numbers and absence at certain coasts speaks for itself.
