Crickets and worms do have a fairly long shelf life, but they can't be too lively after being in a vending machine as opposed to the bait shop. However, with the advent of vendors that take credit/debit cards, a machine that hands out Rat L Traps, Strike King buzzers and Culprits might do pretty good. You'd prbly have to install some sort of climate control stop the soft plastic baits from melting, though.
