A Figma version of Touhou‘s famous witch Kirisame Marisa promises to allow Touhou fans the long awaited opportunity of privately posing the witch astride her broom (or almost – it seems this crucial pose has been omitted).
The not-action-figure is set to be released by Max Factory in April 2010.
Marisa Kirisame’s Figma edition is available now.

Well, there's the witch, who styles herself on an archytypal witch, and the maid, who is a maid (and Dio Brando)... and then roughly 70 crazy ones in the "new" series.

I sent a copy of the chibiMari animation (where she dances to one of the Bakemonogatari EDs) to a in-her-60s grandmother acquaintance.
She wrote me back she liked it because the character "had all her clothes on, not like the music videos you see these days with the women mostly-naked."
I didn't enlighten her, LOL.
I'm a guy, and _I_ love Touhou because the girls are modestly dressed. I mean... really... when every character has such a deep camel toe you can tell the size and shape of their clitoris, it really starts to lose its meaning and become garish.
(Not that I don't like hentai - just that... damn... some moderation is a good thing!)

I feel you concerning this same sentiment...
I was (ONLY) going to purchase certain Figma's that catch my eye...
But, damn, I am ~ *just* ~ overwhelmed by the fan-tastic quality of them, that my collection is growing rather expeditiously, too fast for my wallet to catch up.
Good thing they are spaced out between releases, so this makes purchasing them... quite easier.
Sigh.... This month is already the most expensive month of the year.
I curse Wonderfest, Online Exclusives and Movie Premium Goods...

Fantastic, but the sausage mouth in #3 and #4 looks like of weird.
I think you are weird.
Yeah, the other faces are good(especially the grin) but the big open-mouthed one is pretty bleh. Max Factory can be a bit hit-or-miss when it comes to big open-mouth sculpts. (Which hurt the Vita figma a lot, it's other expression looks terrible.)
This looks very worth getting.
I don't know much about Figmas though.
