The reason most costplayers don't wear the glasses correctly is that it then makes it alot harder to photoshop the face from Fugly to cute.

She's looks too feminine to pull off an effective Nagato. The cosplayer lacks that androgynous feel you get from Nagato and just comes off as trying too hard. Those silly glasses sure don't help. Taken on her own however, the cosplayer isn't bad looking at all and I wouldn't mind seeing her trying out other characters.
She is trying too hard. Nagato wouldn't usually be so involved with something so trivial.
She will gain more emotion in this movie so the cosplay fits.
