Madobe Nanami is NOT Microsoft official mascot. She's a character by Windows7Mania Office of TechnoAlliance, Inc. and Akihabara PC shops.

Server 2003 is better in my book. Even its 32-bit version supports 64GB of RAM, unlike XP 32-bit's ~3.25GB. Plus it's available for free if you're DreamSpark user (read: student).

Windows 7 aside, he still has a point. XP established itself that well before vista came out that many users stayed with it. It's just a real good os if you ask me and windows 7 still has to prove what it can do to really overthrow it.

Go look at any hardware site with benchmarks of XP vs. 7. XP stills wins very rarely, but there's a 10-20% framerate increase in games over XP on the same hardware.
Also, Windows 7 runs much better on my eeepc1000he, and considering how little horsepower that has it's a fairly decent test of which is the better system.
The 29th was the best.

Most people who don't have a widescreen tend to find that pretty annoying. I've seen several widescreen users with the taskbar on the side though.

I prefer the ones with a simple background and minimal amount of icons.
Yeah, the simplistic ones with a thought out theme are the ones that are most pleasing to the eyes.
However, I don't see why people bother with this. I barely even see my own wallpaper, if I haven't got my browser on fullscreen, I'm either programming, playing games or watching anime. There's no reason to stare at the wallpaper.
