One otaku’s love for mahou shoujo seems to resulted in some rather unconventional body art.
Whether an actual tattoo or some raving zealot’s fantasy, it is at least clear that there is no shortage of fans willing to go this far.

The giant cross ruined it... And the one in the upper right corner too...
When will people stop trying to draw pointless pieces of wood on themselves
yea it did ruin it, but as you can clearly see, he got those Cross's before mahou tattoo =/
a year earlier or something
the cross is over the mahou shoujo(i believe its nanoha's best friend, forget her name).i think the cross is later
Testarossa
Nah, just another Fate clone. The weapon at least looks right, but the costume is completely different.
What a terrible place to put that tattoo, why would he ruin Shoujo with his ass crack, akuma.
christ... what part of "permanent" don't otakus understand
>christ... what part of "permanent" don't people who get tattoos understand
Fixed that for you. It's not just limited to otaku
More than the cross, I wonder if he's realized that the scythe should be yellow. Unless there's a tatoo-specific reason for the red outline.
When will Atheists stop pushing their opinions on other people
When the followers of various death cults start doing the same, I guess.
Right after all religions stop converting other people.
Suck it up, religious boy. Non-religious people have been on the receiving end of pro-religion propaganda and often violent enforcement for as long as we hold written records, and probably from much earlier.
Being vocal about your opinion on controversial issues is not the same as "pushing your opinion". Maybe you should remember what "free speech" means. Talking about things you don't like doesn't automatically make it go away.
Nobody is telling you what to believe. You just decided to go and take it personal yourself. Don't turn your critical thinking off when it comes to your dear religion.
Can't we all just get along?
I'm a Christian that's never tried to convert people. I don't judge people by their "sins", don't think anyone's going to hell, ect.
Atheists are cool with me, along with anyone religious.
Lots of butthurt atheists here. Islam is the light, motherfuckers
And I'm a carnivore that doesn't eat meat.
If you believe that the nasty things Jesus [http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Jesus] said were lies, then why in the world are you following him?
Oh, that's right. I forgot that the bible is called "The Big Book of Multiple Choice [http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Bible]."
LOLOOLOLOLOL!!! Islam is the light?!?
You argument is flawed! Atheism is another religion!!
Their preach a lot, try to converse people in their ranks... must be another religion.
Learn to english.
Since when was atheism a religion?-_- I'm sick of all these dumbass trolls.

Speaking against religion makes you religious? Brilliant.
If preaching a lot makes you a religion, then every social group that preaches their ideals must be religion.
Homosexuals? Feminists? Hippies? Socialists? They all preach their convictions and try to convert others to their side. How does that make them a religion?
Get this through your thick head. Atheism is based on observable evidence and religion. Religion is based on fairy tales and superstitions.
Atheism is a religion. It has books, it has people that preach it, it has people that try to convert you. It also operates on the faith that their is no god, as opposed to just doubting that there is.
Atheism has more in common with organized religion than some actual religions do.
Plus most atheists are the same sort of short-sighted, angry, ignorant, intolerant jackasses that they claim religious people are anyway.
There are atheists who treat atheism as if it were a religion (whether intentionally or not). That does not mean atheism is a religion. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in god.
The assertion that there is definitely no god is not atheism--I'm not sure what it is, but it's not atheism.
@05:35
N00b. No lulz for you.
GOD FAGS
Sucks to be you.
Well, it actually would look exactly fine if it's Rosette Christopher. :3
I would say the large amount of man ass on display ruined it for me.
Clearly the world needs to cater to your whiny atheist butthurt.
I would like to make this kind of tattoo too, only without the crosses.
I see nothing abnormal about it. I have a friend that uses tattoo with the Superman / Batman symbol in the arm.
Your friend is a tool and a faggot.
I don;t think you have any friends, enjoy your tattoo dweeb.
ita-karada? don't know if want
I can see it in the making;
"Tokyo Ink"
Episode 1: A tattoo for an otaku...
As long as this guy doesn't end up in prison or anything like that. Just think of all the ridicule he'd be receiving.
Though, then he might be more susceptible to rape - as the people raping him would be looking at the tattoo on his back.
no! no! prison tattoos should be like that so x-cons aren't always looked up as violent.
Looks as though it's supposed to be Fate, but it looks like her suit is slightly diff...is that perhaps the movie version or what?
HURP DURP.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha might be popular now, but what's he gonna do when anime move on? He's just gonna look ridiculous then, that's what. It's like having a Sailor Moon tattoo in this day and age.
Dont hate on Sailor moon! Theres a doujin artist that still releases new sailor moon stuff..
Who cares about everyone else thinks?
If someone wants to look ridiculous, far be it from me to stop him. The world is full of stupid looking people who imagine themselves as edgy and wild. The lucky ones wake up one day and go "What the hell was I thinking?"
I'd be perfectly happy having a sailor moon tattoo now. Some things are just classic. Besides, it's about what the tattoo means to you, not everyone else. If it's well done it'll still be pleasing to the eye, even if it's dated, so what.
But... what's wrong with my Sailor Moon tattoo?
I don't think anyone who watches anime has to worry about looking more ridiculous. They're either lanky with a fat girlfriend (ew), fat with a neckbeard, or brown.
if that dude gets fat then the tat would be soooo ruined.
He has a fat magical girl, then. ^_^
Another unconscious decision? I guess the guy selected wrong design when he was drunk just like the circus girl
http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2009/06/25/56-tattoo-freak-girl-lied-to-save-face/
She doesn't look.... er... like her usual self? Her expression's not cute enough~
Couldn't the tattoo artist have put it a few inches higher so that we wouldn't have to see an otaku's ass crack?
It's a tattoo with panty shot - of the owner.
Gonna colour it?
(Yeah the cross messed it up a lil)
wow.. i wish i had the guts to do that.. =(
Your parents wouldn't like that very much. Plus youd still be a virgin.
How the fuck can one be so idiotic that one decides to tattoo Fate onto a back that already has a big freaking cross all over it?
Nice way of ruining the image idiot!!
If it is real then I pity the idiot who is willing to do this. The end result won´t be good at all and I wonder where one would find a tattoo artist that would make this kind of work.
what lame tattoo its not even coloured!
Lovely, but cross is indeed distracting from the Glory of Loli Fate.
The cross just kills it.
As to the comment of "whats he going ot do when nanoha or w/e is over?" i agree that some things just never get old, or become a classic. I have a lum tattoo on my forearm, and agree that classic shows with timeless art such as urusei yatsura, or even sailor moon of all things, are worthy of inking. So why not nanoha? (even though i think nanoha is shit)
it looks like the cross is old and the mahou shoujo character will form part of a full back piece to cover it. pretty cool.
So much for this guy ever getting into an onsen.
Ceh, big deal. I got a full-coloured Hinagiku tattoo on my right arm.
I wouldn't mind so much if it was a good tatoo, but that looks horrible (and cheap). I feel sorry for the dude.
Looks real to me, there's a lot of swelling on the outline
That's fucking ugly. It's bad enough he has an anime tattoo but its also badly drawn. GGS
"Otaku for life" just got a textbook example.
Its clearly a cover-up tattoo.
the nanoha looks cool... the other crap is just terrible.
