Mari is currently my second favourite character, just edged a bit by Asuka. I liked her personality and character design, as well as her NekoMari personifications lol
I can see where Asuka's appeal comes from, but personally, I prefer Mari and Rei over her, both in terms of personality and character design.
I cannot pick my favorite between Rei and Mari however D:
