Funny how now one - especially those who know the manga - noticed that there's a specific plot reason why her body isn't depicted as stereotypically attractive as in the cliché loli body, which borrows a lot of proportions from full grown ones. Mina has a very conflictual feeling about his body, due to her true form AND what is being plotted behind the scenes.

But then again, I shouldn't be surprised about that, when most people judge the quality of a manga or an anime just based on fetishes. Really, I wouldn't want to ever be part of a brain eating zombie invasion. Dying from hunger seems a pretty painful death.

The industry is filled with bad adaptations as it is, and it seems Shaft just added more stuff to that list. Which is a shame really. Since they've been quite innovative and delivered some really good shows.

I'm all for originality but this truly blows. If they wanted to do another "take" on the show, not following the manga, couldn't they at least try to be innovative again? Imagine if this show looked something like "Le Portrait de Petit Cossette" (earlier work of Shinbou) then it'd be something to raise an eyebrow for. Now, it is just another petty excuse to cash in on some extra money.

This show goes straight to the garbage bin.

The next to the last photo reminds me of 1st season married with children and the girl on the couch doing her nails on her back. This show would make a good action RPG (nothing to do with that book movie video novel crap). Could have 3x as much stuff to do as Final Fantasy 10x2 had for example plus doing the loli....

the OP had me laughing because of Mina's ridiculous dancing. It's still not quite following the manga though which disappoints me.
