lol. Now I want to read some manga with Raskolnikov with an axe and Cheburashka as the main characters, and the japanese schoolgirls as background characters. Something like this: Raskolnikov and Cheburashka made an agreement, combined their forces and started slaughtering innocent japanese schoolgirls with Raskolnikov's demonic hatchet the Humanbane and raping still warm corpses, attempting to revive demonic king Stalin.

I heard Katawa Shoujo is coming out in Japanese as well. Will Japanese people even want to play that game? I'm under the impression Japanese eroge and anime fans would NEVER accept anything foreign made simply because it's foreign and not as a result of its strengths/weaknesses.

Поиграл в демку. Самое классное в ней бэкграунд. Очень красиво. Музыка тоже приятная, не напрягает. Сюжет немного странный, но забавный, впринципе интересно. Хотя, пародии на персонажей известных, немного, кажутся не в тему. А вот как нарисованы девушки не сильно нравится. Некотрые еще ничего так, но все-таки как-то не дотягивает. Средненько. И еще маловато анимации, таких как моргание и смены поз. И я не понял, в чем игра относится к эроге? В демке только безобидные намеки. Правда сценка с тем что творилось в клубе за дверью забавная. хотя и было подобное уже во многих этти, правда тут как бы запугали яоем. К слову, вздохнул с облегчением, что яоя там не было. xD
Пожелаем автору успешного завершения, и неплохо бы все-таки девушек перерисовать - найти другого художника, типаж менять не обязательно. Хотя вот.. медсестра, честно говоря меня вообще расстроила внешностью. Страшная до безобразия. В других эроге частенько медсестра (школьная) один из самых эротичных персонажей. Да и рыжая лолитка СССР как-то слабенько. В общем тут есть над чем поработать. И в демко какая-то проблема с сейвами у меня была.

Katawa Shoujo was poorly written and bland. I can't believe people think that generic piece of crap is any good.

I think I prefer Katawa Shoujo though. For some reason, that teaser doesn't really do anything for me. The music doesn't really fit if you ask me, and the way the girls are drawn... It just doesn't appeal to me.

That, and I know no Russian at all. At least I could translate it if it was in Japanese, even though it'd be slow work. Good practice too.

Gorgeous backgrounds, and the art's actually pretty polished. Naysayers are right in saying that it could improve by leaps and bounds, but for an amateur game? And considering what amateur visual novels exist out there? This is pretty damn amazing.

I recognize those backgrounds, they're from pixiv.

The style of back ground illustrations is similar in Shinkai makoto's style who created "5cm per second".

Kawata Shoujo looks a lot better. But hey, it's still great.
