I'm getting tired of FF bug reporting and bashing, I only like some of the FF spin-offs but none of the main series, but even bashing the series is getting really old.

Sankaku has been the FFXIII bashing page lately. And most of the bashing has been the same:
1) The game is linear! (By the way, who cares?)
2) There are bugs! (All games have them. And these are very minor ones.)
4-5 sceptical articles on the biggest RPG of recent memory is too much?
We published more articles going on about the release dates, platform releases and, most importantly, Serah's schoolgirl outfit... I think this is far from unbalanced coverage.
I recently tried to bug Suare-Enix about not including japanese voice dialogue on the game, surprisingly enough they replied (I used the hiring email cause I couldn't find any other support email to voice opinions)here's the transcript:

1. It's an automated response. I'm sure they get tons of email, so an automated response is to be expected.
2. "Big consensus"? I don't know about that. While I agree that the dubs kind of suck, I don't think there is a large outcry to keep the original dialogue. If anything, the cry is to simply hire better voice actors for the English version.

If that character was supposed to be following her, then it was trying to make a path to the player. NPC's take the shortest available route, this one couldn't round off the numbers for which one.

DeathCrunch, you can get a lot of helpful information from online resources, as well as magazines, people, reviews, etc.
And you can't deny that they provide good insight into what a game is to a specific preference, but...
You never know if you'll like it until you've played it with an open mind.
Just because something is linear or has a few bugs doesn't mean it's no good.
(BTW, what happened to the classic games that had lots and lots of bugs, but no one cared? If it doesn't hinder your gameplay, it's not really that significant)

It's an NPC (basically all other characters follow the leader) thats doing the jumping, so you can just ignore it and move on.

Actually it really is linear. You get some freedom on chapter 11 but then back to running in a straight line from one enemy to the next watching movies and fighting bosses along the way. There are 13 chapters total btw. And that video is not a bug, your companions follow you around and that is just part of the pathing, won't break the game or anything.
There's plenty of gameplay videos online, read a few reviews and I've even watched part of a compete play-through.
I don't get this retarded logic that everything has to be experienced first hand for me to have an opinion of it.
