I think the reisen one, as nice as it is,is photo shopped, her eyes seem unnaturally wide set and big lol not to mention really good lighting haha.
Maybe so, maybe not; it's hardly offensive in application if it's been 'shopped. Some people do have facial structures like that though (widely-spaced eyes).
I beg to differ, the lighting's not *that* good. That's taken at a nearby building, not comiket itself, so it's certainly not impromptu. The eyes suggest there's probably a little fill-flash to help the situation.
The dynamic range of the scene is too high for the camera/photographer to handle - there's chroma noise all over the jacket and blown-out highlights elsewhere. I suspect that Nikon on the floor there would handle things a bit nicer (this has the feel of a point-and-shoot, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it).

I agree; Overweight people should definitely not be allowed to dress up as a cartoon character in public. It's completely selfish and annoying for other people who just want to appreciate beautiful people in beautiful clothing. Such cosplayers should lose some weight before they are allowed to spend their time having fun the way they want to.
Fat people CAN very well dress up like CARTOON characters. But not as manga, anime and Japanese game characters. Death penalty for that.

Mmm, I dunno about "no big deal", but it at least wouldn't cause a huge commotion like in some other countries. Not the first time though - I saw a Fuhrer-sama at C75 last year. He was definitely a bit nervous, but a good showing. Was also accompanied by a handful of other officers.

Massive selection bias here, but there *are* a lot of trap cosplayers at comiket. I don't have hard numbers, but I suspect girls outnumber boys by a large margin. What male cosplayers there are, half of them as traps isn't an unreasonable guess.

All I know is, it has been made, and it looks like a bootlegged version of the RAF insignia. Hell, does anyone know better? To most people, the RAF insignia just looks "cool" to put on a military uniform.
