Looks still to me the instrument is too small or the girl too big, as in most illustrations/figures.
Either Mio has grown to 6ft / 180cm, or her Jazz Bass is a special, three-quarter sized model.
I posted this in the forums the other day and no one said anything about it.
Anyway, I really like this one and didn't see much wrong with her face (although the second face looks better in my opinion).
I like it better than the Alter figure of her. I think it's more faithful. I still can't bring myself to pay that much for a piece of plastic though.
I never bought a figure in my life, but this one looks so good, I'm quite tempted.

There's a big difference between "stripped" pantsu and "striped" pantsu.

Though the idea, colour details, body structure, design, and the concept is put together well.
~ "Why" ~ does the face have to offset its grandness? ~ even with 2 separate facial emotions, it (still) doesn't ~ "save it" ~ from it being offset?
Because of this ~ the K-On! moe-ness essence that fans all know and love has completely disappeared.
It maybe good for some, but for those who are picky about what goes in a collection.
They will wait for another figure that will full fill the needs of the most of discriminating Collector of Mio Akiyama goodness.

No inlays, the frets look like plastic pins, and the chrome under the volume/tone controls is weirdly shaped compared to the original :/

I'm happy that they nailed the jazz bass so well.
First thing I looked for was to see if they did a sloppy job on the bass, but they nailed it perfectly. Even the correct number of frets.
Her second face (last pic) is quite good IMO..
