I don't know, however, if violent means behaving violent (like shouting, throwing/destroying things when angered) or actual use of violence against living beings (animals (including human beings)/plants). Everyone should let his stress out somehow,and some people are born with a temper(like me),who,however, never use actual violence against anything except objects.Even a women should shout if she's angered with the mans behaviour instead of seperating/committing adultery/etc... Tattooes and piercings are even worse and I don't know why being a drug addict isn't in the list(like smoking/drinking/taking other drugs),it seems that it doesn't matter although those people are mentally unstable/weakwilled and are far worse than NEETs/Otakus to have as a partner.
