the card is overheated. that is why it is doing that. the card is probably an old ati 9800 series, or is unnessesarily overclocked and not properly cooled. there are such things as gaming video cards, gotta get something with more than 256mb of dedicated video ram.

The requirement for this game isn't as insane as most people think. An i7 is definitely not required for it. If your comp can play decent games (Half-Life 2, CoD4), then you should be fine.

I ran lots of illusion games at 8x AA on my Radeon 4890 and they are great expect some scene are missing 8x AA. I hope illusion start using tessellation for massive curve and polygon count.

There's something wrong with Illusion studio's 3d rendering, I played some of their earlier games, I observe that just a simple world requires that much system requirements. If you compare it to other games like half-life 2 and such, those games work perfectly even on some old hardware. I remember the Karin model for half-life 2, it was a great model, but it didn't even affect my fps even I'm only using really old hardware.
I think Illusion studio is just pushing the polygons and textures while not applying the standards and not considering the measures of performance, I think they're just making an excuse that we the recent hardware that are out now, it's just right to not consider the performance aspect. I bet if they consider that aspect, even on old hardware, much of their games would work more efficiently and perfectly...

Hell the original [buggy] Crysis was able to run on my old 6800GS at medium settings without too much trouble.
But from the images it looks like the user just failed either his video card is dieing, his drivers are old or he's trying to run it on crappy hardware.

It looks like the person was using a direct x 7 or 8 video card which makes it either a low end intel or a really old Nvidia or Ati. (around 8 years old or so) Most games have detection and won't even run at all on that kind of video card but I guess this game doesn't.

This is common for illusion games. I never knew people actually fapped to backgrounds, I thought thats what the girls were for..I for one use the feature that turns them off, otherwise you cant see the girl at certain angles.

I hope Illusion can optimise this better than their previous games. With the current knowhow of the vidya gaems industry, Illusion should be able to squeeze alot more out of normal computers. Not everyone has an i7 with 12GBs of ram to run Real Kanojo.

How are they not optimized? I've gotten both Schoolmate and Artificial Girl 3 to run off a 3dfx Voodoo 5, and playable at that.

Just downloaded the demo and played it, working fine on quad q8200 8gb ram on 9800GT sli the GPUs didn't even register that there was any load. So i'd say this is more cpu intensive as the video cards didn't even heat up from idle temperature.

I've played this demo and it run just allright. I've built my PC on my own using best available parts at the moment (it was in march). While Crysis runs on it with constant 65fps at everything maxed up, this demo is only at around 23fps. What is wrong with this game? I guess programmers.
