This is because most animation studios have shipped their labor to China and Korea.

Problem is, these people can't create anything original, only produce poor copies of mediocre source material.

not so accurate, friend... without things like E8 trolling, haruhi would be far from "ruined", even if the art style was moefied 10x greater than K-ON!

look around, and look back to the past. good animes always prevail despite their shitty art style. and shitty animes always fail in the market despite their good art style.
