In all actuality though, the only reason the man is in trouble, is because he did not have the camera attached to the stun gun that he used on the child. As they need to be used now for issued stun guns.

The man was given permission by the mother to taze the daughter, and he was suspended for a week, with pay. So a week off with pay.

  Exactly. The last time I saw sales figures for the top games in Japan for the past year it was quite depressing to see that even some of their best selling games hit around 100k and they call that a success while even a poorly made Western game can hit the 500k mark. Plus, as you said, the Japanese developers simply refuse to look at the future. Sure there are niche groups of fans that still love 2D sprites in a strategy RPG, but honestly there could be so much more advancement.

  Not trying to flame, but why is backwards compatibility such a huge buying issue for many people? Did they throw out their ps2′s when they bought the ps3? Or is it the allure of playing ps2 games on the ps3? I have each system, and when I need to play something for the Ps2, I just go play it on the ps2. That’s one thing I never quite understood about people who want it backwards compatible. Especially if they already had the previous system.
