The original wording only said “purportedly” and “looks as though.”

The organisers themselves make no effort to deny or defend, and seemingly confirm it.

Plenty of news sources regarding this have no updates whatsoever, and must have done some research. The files have been universally presented as depicting both. The counterclaim itself is not wholly reliable as he could have any number of reasons for denying it.

Under all these circumstances I think this is a reasonable way of handling matters.
