Good anime depends largely on good source material. As long as authors produce original Manga/LightNovel/VisualNovels good anime will still be around.

People, we have entered an age of "digital entertainment lifestyle". For many, games, online communities, and all manner of anime ARE life.
You'll end up dead before otaku get a life...
They are like that because they reject a normal life in favor of an extended childhood well into their adulthood.
Well, not all, but there are many that do.
There's actually a fair bit of very good and non-ero anime this season. I just wish people would stop overlooking it for all the ecchi.
Examples would be Kuchuu Buranko (though it has a little bit of fanservice with the nurse), Aoi Bungaku is absolutely brilliant, Armed Librarians (again small amount of large tits from one character but not a focus) and Tegami Bachi. And those are just off the top of my head.
If you want high quality serious anime I would suggest Aoi Bungaku this season and previous seasons had huge amounts of it too (I've just started watching Phantom <3)
I am so sick of all you fags complaining that all the anime these days is either moe or ecchi focused! Sure there alot of 'em, but there have been plenty very good anime series this year that aren't, you just obviously haven't got a clue about where to look! A couple examples from this year: Clannad After Story, Full Metal Alchemist (2009 version), Kara no Kyoukai, Canaan, and Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini. All good series, all series that are NOT focused on moe or ecchi, and they ALL came out this year, in 2009! Are you guys just blind or what!? In january 2010 we will even get a Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works movie. So STOP complaining!

I actually get bothered by this anime in particular cause characters breast sizes change dramatically depending on what they are wearing (Sohara in school uniform has tiny breasts compared to Sohara in bikini) I understand that breasts can seem to change size depending on what is worn but not THAT much.
The variable-breast-size symptom happens in many animes. And yes, it's annoying. Special fanservice episode? Phoomp! The females are now wearing swimwear with +20% to +50% breast-size enhancing powers.
At least, in the Mahoromatic "Ain't Dreams Grand" episode, there was the "Pi-Deal-Alpha" vacuum-powered breast-enhancing device to account for the change.
Some animes have used the reason that the female involved had magical powers to change her own body.
But most animes don't bother with any sort of reason for the change.
A related symptom is the "Missing/Magically-Migrating Nipples" syndrome. No matter how low-cut the top, the female's nipples mysteriously migrate to where they can't be seen, or are simply missing.
Show us the nips - or at least, evidence of their presence, and in a consistent spot!
