The 2D video is immeasurably superior.
The music video is confusing me.
Will probably get negatives just for speaking my opinion, but I don't like the song so much. It's okay, but feels repetitive and messy. Maybe the full version is better, I've still got to check that one out.
I'm really liking the anime, though. It's hard to say why, at least specifically. But when I finish an episode I always feel like tearing my hair out when I think there's one more week until the next. It's probably the good mix of substance and meaningless fluff that makes the show so addictive.

This anime is pointless and quite stupid, but it's so funny! After seeing the first episode, I had to see them all. Every time I remember the moment that strange girl starts beating her head on the table I lol so hard!

The song is really good overall. But for me, I'd prefer it without the Engrish. It makes no sense and it sounds too strange. In general, I don't mind if there's English mixed in, but when it's mixed in and it sounds too weird... Well...
But Engrish is so COOL XD!!! I use it everyday and I feel like a badass!

That's like the first time I've watched a PV for an anime OP that has something to do with the show in question... although I'm ready to be corrected as I generally don't watch that many PV's, the last one I saw being Red Fraction.

To correct you, the OP theme for Zettai Karen Children also had a similar theme of incorporating costumes etc. into the PV. Hell, even the singers had a cameo in the show (but that's due to Synergy SP being jolly good fellows)

I thought the song was decent. I don't know who this Nao is so it doesn't matter much to me.
I like this song- it's catchy.
I think it'll be unfair to compare Yoshino and NAO. NAO has been with fripSide since the very beginning, while Yoshino has only but started her singing carreer. But I think she sings very well and suits fripSide style in the best way possible. She even sound a lot like NAO.
My friend said that Yoshino is cute-looking while NAO is gorgeous and mature-looking. Well, Yoshino is good-looking, I'll give you that.
Still, I think Yoshino lacks expressions in her singing. She's too passive.
Too bad that the rumoured possibility of eroge princess Rita joining fripSide didn't came true. But I'm pretty pleased with Yoshino, and expecting more fripSide goodness.

Anime albums get high up on the charts because the ratio of album sales to fans is much higher then any other normal music album, due to the fanatical buying habits of otaku.
Otaku are also more likely to find a digital download unacceptable compared to a physical release then a normal music fan.
