Photoshop's widely used in the media production to make the scenario, animals and people closer to perfection or the way the script determined them to be. In a person's case, before and with or without Photoshop, makeup and lighting makes him/her much more beautiful. Makeup, lighting and Photoshop became part of the artwork.

If Kipi is the queen of Photoshop, it isn't the question. What makes her an elite cosplayer are the result, not the technique.

Although really any of the effects done in this video can be done with make up and a person that's not a retard. How the 'shopping was dugh was really interesting for me to watch. Copy a few techniques and whatnot for other pictures I work on.

I am a cosplayer that uses the same brand of contact lens as Kipi, and they do turn out the "circle" way in photos. They are also slightly bigger than the diameter of your eyes, so it makes your eyes look bigger (this is fairly popular in korea). The use of makeup and eyeliner also gives the "illusion" of bigger eyes

I'm not sure how many people outside of the photography or cosplay community know, but there is raw files and processing for photos, which is not airbrushing (I post process my photos through raw). It enhances the colour, lighting etc, and unlike airbrushing, there is not a loss of detail. When airbrushed, people tend to shop out any sort of imperfections and make themselves thinner etc (Like Arisa) but you can tell, from the improportionate photos, the fake "blurring" result from airbrushing (which you can tell from the video) but does not apply to the rest of her photos which are so high in detail . If you look closely, Sometimes you can still see hints of her moles that are not covered entirely through makeup in some photo sets. If people say they can use sharpening, sharpening does not always work that well.

And yes, there are normal videos of her talking and photo pictures AND pictures from other photographers/sites and she looks completely the same, and cosplay makeup etc. so there's really no point for this massive shopfest?

changing it as drastically as this just makes it fake. But I guess it's aiming for a perfect pic and not a natural one.
