The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi Movie Dated

The release date of the much talked about Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi movie adaptation has been made public.
The theatrical release is thought to be on the 6th of February, with the information coming by way of a cinema release schedule (which may be subject to subsequent revision if Kadokawa give them a nasty phone call).
It appears at present that Kadokawa and company will not be enforcing an information embargo this time, although this being Kadokawa it seems unlikely they have learnt their lesson…

I remember a time when I would actually care a lot about when a disappearance Haruhi movie would be airing.
Now? I could care less. Maybe I'll watch it when it hits dvd/bd. Here's hoping it's not K-ON style like all the new Haruhi episodes were.

While watching Yuuutsu, I was seriously hoping for the disappearance arc, and when the season ended sooner than I expected, I wanted to kill myself... But when I found out about this, I was so happy I could die~~ But not just yet cuz I still have to watch it next year..!

Being a person who doesn't read the novels, manga...
and ~
Despite the melodramatica which occurred over the E8 ~ (which never bothered me nor warped my mind)~ or anything remotely related, as it did many people.
I am looking forward to this and seeing how it plays out.
In regards to Haruhi and all the emomelodramatica which occurred with the series and its ploys, yadda-yadda-yadda.
I have always maintain ~ neutral status ~ concerning E8 and I still enjoy Haruhi for what it is.
An animu which attains my interest and continues to do so.
This is how I feel too.
I mean, I like Haruhi for what it is; a good show. I've read the first volume of the light novels and I wasn't horribly impressed by it, even if it was entertaining. But I wouldn't mind reading at least one more, even if just to see if it gets better or not.
I liked the first season of the anime, and I liked the second season better. Both regarding and disregarding EE as a part of the second season, I can say that.
A lot of people are acting like jerks and getting their panties in a bunch over Kadokawa, but I don't just see why they are so upset. Even if that was my number one favorite show it's not like I would act like a six year old.
Kadokawa aren't the only trollers among anime-companies. SunRise, anyone? How many times haven't they trolled Gintama-fans? They had a fake movie with fake movie posters. And a fake OVA that they claimed to be real, only to call it fake later, only to actually release it in the end- but with other content than promised. Not to mention they've faked the TV-series' end like THREE TIMES.
And it does happen that anime-projects that are announced newer get started and that ones that do get started never get finished. So even with an announcement, you can't really know IF it's going to happen, at least not for some time.
But if they do make a Haruhi movie, I will watch it and look forward to watching it. And if they don't? Well, there are a lot of other good movies to watch instead.
