I live in Europe, and every country i can think of here in the european union has 18 years as the age of coming of age. If there is a state with another age, then it would probably one of the new former sovjet member states. So at age of 18 no longer a minor, with a few nuances from country to country (sometimes deliberately, sometimes remnants in the laws of the old age of coming of age at e.g. 21. What does differ between the member states is the age of sexual consent, where i live it's 16, but there are countries with age 17 or 14. Here there is currently a debate ongoing to lower that age.
