It looks like they were intentionally trying to make her look average, probably so you could care about her in a normal way as the story progresses. They were totally trying to make bayonetta the star of the show, while I dont find her crazy attractive or anything her total badassness is what makes her sexy to me. Play the Demo, she totally kicks ass.

I think the problem is Bayonetta is design to look like a 3D(real) woman not anime type of woman,so Cereza big eye(plus big glasses) are a bit off.
