also they didnt include characters that have stupidly immense magical power (nanoha characters). or even bother with type moon characters. like SHIKI who is the personification of Akasha, "the origin of all things" itself. able to kill anything in existance or simply erase it.

For those complaining about Doraemon. Here is why he is very powerful.
1.He has cloaking device
2.He can jump and create dimension
3.He has time machine and a clock that can stop time
4.He has flashlight that can shrink you
Basically,he is invisible,can escape to diff dimension if in danger,can stop time and the enemy including their powers,shink the opponent no matter how big or powerful and stomp them.

Reading through this thread make me realize just how ancient I am. Now I agree with Goku, and even Arale (read my "in defense of Arale" post above), but does anyone remember Locke, the superman?

Ok, why the hell is no one from Gurren Lagann up there? I mean, yeah, they all piloted mechs in that anime, but for the love of god, they created drills larger than the mechs they piloted out of thin air from their wills alone. They could create mecha larger than a galaxy simply because that's what they wanted! Goku can blow up one planet. The giant mass of energy created by a group of the characters in Gurren Lagann is so vast it could crush, hell, more than I could ever count, just from taking a step. If I'm wrong anywhere here, please stop me. (lol. I have fury)

Goku? Number 1? Alucard would beat him easily,seeing as it takes Goku about three episodes to get to full power while sounding like a constipated muscle builder.

And sure,Goku can ressurect himself after a year of whatever the heck he does in limbo,but Alucard would meet him there and just smirk and do it all again for fun.
Come to think about it,it takes almost all DBZ characters at least an entire episode of powering up to do anything.And Alucard won't just stand there and wiat patiently fo him to finish will he?Or,he might,just to make the battle more fun.

Goku was almost as fast as light speed even at SSJ2 (not even counting SSJ4 or his teleportation), could fly, destroy planets for no real reason and dies as much as Alucard does. Difference is Alucard resurrects, Goku either walks or fight his way out of heaven/hell.

i bet some would say haruhi because she can alter reality. but, if you view the story in a different way, it can be translated as the main male character (Kyon) being insane (multiple personality, imagining worlds, altering past memories of a loved one, etc.) or the one having those powers(switching the roles of "God" to Kyon).
