Impressive and bloody details of new Fist of the North Star brawler Hokuto Musou have surfaced, and it looks as if another blockbuster entry into the Musou series is imminent, along with plenty of flying entrails.
The play video was streamed live on Nico, which accounts for its poor quality and lack of sound (and streaming comments), but the bloody explosions of Kenshiro’s destroyed foes are evident enough:

Well, it's probably better than the "Last Battle" Sega 16 version...
Where once you got past the first level, you got on this map and either died in an arena fighting some kind of hard to hit/tell if you'd hit monster or died lost in some boobytrapped boring as hell warehouse...
Play the japanese version, HnK 2, at least people explode, not just fly away.

Isn't there an auto-lock function so you could focus on one enemy at a time? I fear sometimes you'd miss and punch air while the enemy counter-attacks you. Furthermore, while the game is fairly badass, it'll probably bore people the longer you play it. See enemy, button mash to beat them up, boss battle, repeat ad nauseum.
