Hokuto Musou for PS3 & Xbox 360

Hokuto Musou (Dynasty Warriors: Fist of the North Star) has been formally announced as being set for a multi-platform release in 2010.
The non too informative teaser video has been circulating for some weeks:
Characters now confirmed are Kenshiro, Yuria, Raoh, Toki and Souther…
With the state of the Japanese Xbox 360 market, a multi-platform release most probably suggests an international release is planned, although there is no confirmation of this yet.
The notion of a Fist of the North Star game in the Musou series has excited fans of both game and manga considerably, and just as with Gundam it seems an ideal matchup, so success looks to be assured…

Thing is, I feel the Dynasty Warriors engine is pretty boring. I hope the make this closer to Godhand than Dynasty Warriors Nth revision.
When expectations are great, it usually means you have to expect to be greatly disappointed.
The gameplay must be better than Dynasty Warriors, lest it becomes Dynasty Warrior with Hokuto scars.

I was extremely excited, until I learned that it was a fucking Dynasty Warriors game.
Fucking bullshit. Kenshin is way better then pressing square for hours on end, why the fuck isn't this a DMC style game?
If this game can bring out the traditional style of head blowing and torso splitting i will get it.

Artefact acts like there are tens of millions of PS3's in japan, when there aren't. The xbox360 may not be doing well in japan, but neither is the PS3. What reason is there not to do a multiplatform release when the xbox360 is easy to code for and produces superior results to the ps3 with the same code?
