Yeah I remember seeing this guy's works in a previous gallery here on Sancom.
The way he converts 2D to 3D should serve human kind as the prototype for when we start making anime-style androids.
Somehow it eschews the whole "uncanny valley" problem while still keeping the charm of 2D (I wonder if that holds true even while they're in motion?).
He's done everyone a great service showing us that it can be done.
Yes agree with others here that its nicely done artwork of the female body. Some reminds me of the old sega genesis game girls like from Phantasy Star 3 or 4, others look like a mix of styles from Everquest 1 and square enix influence like. I am not saying it is but that what it looks like to me. Nicely done.

I'm impressed. Normally, 3D has at least a touch of the Uncanny Valley in it, this wasn't the case. I could honestly mistake some of these for figures.

This is among the best 3D-ized version of Anime style artwork I've seen. As many have noticed, if done wrong; looks creepy. I still love traditional 2D hand drawings, thou... but enjoy art of any type.
Even his 2D art is top notch.
