The cosplay at AWA this year was definitely above par. And there was a lot more variety. I saw one Mio and one Yui. D= There should have been more K-on! T^T
why is it that above par is better than average, anyways? In golf it's supposed to be good to be below par.
Par = average. Golf par = average times you swing your club to get the tiny ball in the hole. More swings = above par = bad score. Less swings = below par = better. (Maybe? Too boring to watch more than 5 mins whenever there is a tournament.)
You mixed it up, above par means that it is less swings than the par, meaning good, whereas below par is more swings, meaning bad.
Think of Par as average, above par being a B, below being a d, and a hole in one an A.

Final Fantasy died after 10...I didn't like 10 but it still held true to the originals.
I think FF13 will attract those that like FF7-10.. just by looking at the images and gameplay videos, I really like FF13. FF11 and 12 are like FF movie... it's not bad, but it doesn't felt like FF.

Do you know how many people mourned Final Fantasy's death while Final Fantasy 7 was in production; 'cos it apparently died when it went 3D... It's changed, not died. It's evolved so as not to go extinct, You may not like it, and I may not have liked FF since 6 came out, but we have to accept it's not dead.
