Sony’s check is one of the main things I hate about the PS3 despite it being the better system. If they do to this game like they did to numerous others (X-blade) then we will have problems. It’s thanks to sony’s check that an English version of the Ikkitousen game was never released. The bureau who rates games gave it an M rating and because of that Sony and the company with the rights to the game decided to not do it. The game ratings and the MPAA are two of the most annoying factions in the united states and huge proponents against freedom of expression and speech.

The fact that thr Xbox has been constantly “betrayed” is no surprise. Considering both tales and star ocean were explicitly sony for quite a while it is no surprise that they would be released for the ps3. PS3 owners must wait longer but usually (exception of x-blade) get better quality. The PS3 is the better hardware. The games on it are lacking yes but it is slowly rising. The 360 is for quantity gaming where as the PS3 is for quality gaming. The 360 is a multiplayer platform where as the PS3 is single player. In the end trying to compare these two systems is like trying to compare the Wii to the PC they are two completely different systems. Each system caters a particular group of people. End the damn feud already.

  This is good news, I thought Star ocean 3 was great, one of the best RPGs on the ps2, I will be getting this as soon as it comes on sale in the UK

  Im sooo glad I didnt buy this game! I knew they would probably release a superior version on the ps3 so Im glad I didnt waste my money on a lower quality version and I certainly dont intend to get a ps3 just to play it. Im more than happy to pass bcoz all Square Enix games tend to be terrible and this does not look like an exception.

  To be fair, 20:13 didn’t say “adaption”, and I haven’t seen many live action movies from Japan that didn’t have major issues. But yeah, you’re right, our ani-adaptions (animation in general) suck.

  Poor Japanese. It’s kind of sad that i even considered their country worthy of a lengthy stay. Nowadays, i wouldn’t even want to spend a lengthy vacation there. Really sad how far they have fallen.
