Meh don't see why the Chinese as a whole are being blamed, seems like its just the douchebag government (part of) that did this. I'm sure most Chinese ppl living outside China and even those in China realize how much of an epic fail this was. I think we can laugh it off because the shittyness of the alterations is a total joke and they can't make that much profit from such garbage. I'd be more concerned with the IP infringements being made that actually generate profit.

"It's not a 100% copied..so what's your problem?" The problem is they claim it to be a 100% original production of theirs, which you admitted is not. A film about morality built upon deceits does not make for very convincing propaganda. And gunpowder and paper are a different matter altogether because no one in the west has a "copyright" on paper or "gunpowder", if you can manufacture it, there's nothing stopping you. For the record, where I live history school books always teach you that paper and gunpowder are chinese inventions.
