I was coerced into watching Queen's Blade with two friends in a sort of weird, Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of viewing the anime. It was unexpectedly enjoyable to poke fun at everything terrible about it, but I couldn't help but facepalm when it occurred to me that the mystery behind Airi's disappearing clothes was probably the most profound storyline the show had to offer - regardless of whether or not it would ever be explained.
Simple; she's a GHOST.. so as her clothes..
