China’s largest delivery company shows what a paragon of care and efficiency it is in the below video:
The USA may not be a world leader in this area, but even the excesses of its worst offenders seem unlikely to match the everyday services on offer here…
It's not very different here, in france: http://laposte-video-forumwebservices.cvf.fr/VIDEO/2008-10.01/enquete.html
And they are PROUD of that, because it was even worse before
It would be more efficient if they replace those guys. All they need to do get big cushion cart and then push all the boxes into it. Then roll it to the processing line. Now they would need to kick the boxes that they throw on the cememt to the processing line.
I've got a DHL package shipped from asia that when it arrived, the whole box is demolished and completely crashed. It's only held together by some tape. When I cut through the tape to get to my item, the crashed box basically fell apart into one large piece of cardboard box.
I guess this is their way of bringing the package to the customers...
What idiocy! If a package is a bomb and they throw it like that, they're history.
Oh man, that's hi-LARIOUS. Fuckin QUALITY WORK! I've never really had any trouble with my packages from HK or mainland China though... Once, one of my packages was canceled so hard by the central post office that it damn near collapsed one side of the box in, but that's about it. Heh.
On an unrelated note, I sure would be interested to know why I just had to re-register for Sankaku. ;o
I suddenly found myself not logged in, and it wasn't accepting my login, and saying there were no accounts for any of the e-mails I tried for forgotten passwords. ;o
The cardboard buns incident was a hoax created by a Beijing reporter looking to gain some spotlight during the entire food and health incidents in China.
They were arrested shortly after and a retraction issued by news broadcasters that showed it.
I think the people who are insulted from these articles focused on China, Korea, Japan etc. etc. are often ethnically Chinese, Korean or Japanese etc. etc.
I understand that it causes anger when one's nation is insulted but all nations are at fault. In China's case, it seems to the issue of 'quality' and 'authenticity'. But China is a great land, and has many great achievements, just like all nations.
With that said, i am rofl appalled at this video...i wonder how many orders were cancelled from native chinese after seeing this.
If China wants to stop being insulted for the quality of goods and services they offer, they just have to work that much harder at being efficient..
they are the worlds largest manufacturer of goods, hence it is understandable that they will have the largest number of complaints on the quality of the goods they provide..
its the same with the US.. if for example lets say if the UN decide to send humanitarian aid to a particular country, the US is literally expected to provide far more aid then the other countries.. and if they instead send an amount similar to countries like the UK or France, they will be publicly criticized..
people don't look at the big picture..
they will choose to ignore that most goods produced in China are manufactured at a acceptable quality.. and instead focus of small instances where Chinese goods are poorly made..
I was actually trying to say that.. the number of complaints look normal when you compare it with the number of goods the Chinese economy truly manufactures.. and the complaints are usually for businesses that give into greed and poor regulations by the Chinese government..
but yeah.. I do agree with what you are saying..
but there has been quite a lot of evidence that most of the complaints about 'China quality' were badly placed.. where the fault usually lies with flaws in design of goods by western cooperations.. or the cooperation focuses purely on price negotiation, and they usually ignore quality testing.. etc...
and I will repeat that most Chinese manufacturers produce goods at an acceptable quality.. its just that there are some greedy bastards that choose to 'get rich quick'.. you could blame the Chinese.. or you could blame the West..
Nevertheless hopefully the recent change in how the Chinese government looks at bad quality production.. will slowly force Chinese businesses to shape up..
Well China is trying to occupy the "low-cost" market, and there is no supply without demand. It's simply because the west wants low-cost alternatives that they buy from China. If not, they'd make it themselves and keep the cash within their economy, won't they?
They won't bother to raise the wage of the workers, and if anyone here has worked minimum wage the way they pay the Chinese. you would be pretty darn fed up too. In fact, most of you would probably quit given the chance. But these people can't quit, they either take the shitty pay or starve. Hence, their bad attitude.
they will choose to ignore that most goods produced in China are manufactured at a acceptable quality.. and instead focus of small instances where Chinese goods are poorly made..'
No, Momo, people actually do look at the big picture. Management magazines and professional journals are full of complaints about China and quality issues of various kinds. Low quality is the rule, acceptable quality is the exception.
That is why rich companies bothered to diversify to Vietnam. They had to have a genuine threat to hold over the Chinese from time to time - "shape up or we transfer operations to Vietnam." Of course, they only shape up long enough to make the inspectors leave.
Meh, I've received some pretty beat up packages from inter-USA delivery before (UPS, FedEx, USPS), and although I don't get to witness it happening it would have to be either from something like this or rough driving? Anyway this is what packing material is for. If delivery services were actually gentle and careful we wouldn't need to produce all that styrofoam/bubblewrap/etc.
i've seen that at airports too =\ personally think that kind of behaviour is disgusting but hey.. wat can u do about it.. complain and never hear from them again
Don't check valuables into your suit case, carry them on. This is common sense... If the 2 bag limit isn't enough, fly executive if you really care about your crap.
I'm still wondering, why they always stress on the word "Chinese Style", or criticize on thing done by Chinese and Japanese or ye'l might pull up to asians, at times i think Europeans are pretty awkward too
Yet with so many people, they can make more mistakes than America and still have a lower mistake/population ratio. "90% of our customers are happy!" or "90% of our companies are great!" They can afford bad examples better than American/Japanese companies can.
They are trying too hard to be crappy
china! sucking at something new everyday
Great, I bet there was a PS3 slim somewhere in those boxes...
It's not very different here, in france: http://laposte-video-forumwebservices.cvf.fr/VIDEO/2008-10.01/enquete.html
And they are PROUD of that, because it was even worse before
Thats the French for ya.
Notice how the passerby's don't seem to give a shit...
It must be a pain to get used to such an environment.
so this is what happened to my misaka mikoto box...
same person...and lemme rephrase that, the box my misaka mikoto came in
Music in the background is by F.I.R.
no wonder some of the stuff I ordered from ebay from Hongkong or China seller arrived in bad condition. and its not the merchant fault.
stupid chinesee
I'm rethinking about ordering a Nintendo DS trough ebay...
+1 for the delivery guys. Efficiency comes first.
Chinese UPS!
Oh, and did anyone else notice that trailer only had one door?
i guess they won't care even if you deliver some guy's corpse lol
Huh so that's how merchandise fall off of trucks...
i just worried if this is the quality of DEALEXTREME delivery!!!!
That actually hurt to watch.
I know what you mean, hope HK doesn't follow their example or is it too late

I swear I heard some glass breaking in that last package they threw.
Oh no, my loli!
Hmmm..?

Funny, ive yet to run into and damaged product since i order many of my things from China :P
At least he saved the biggest box for last so that all the smaller boxes would cushion its fall.
This is probably what the Staples delivery guy is like at the end of the day after he's heard "That's easy!" for the ten gazillionth time.
epic failure
oh my freaking gosh!!! that's how they deliver?!
They probably never heard of the word "fragil". Maybe this is why all their stuff is crap!
Those lazy motherfuckers.
No wonder all the "made-in-china" crap had near to no warranty...
omfg xD made in germany rulez, there is no things like this .___.!°
Made in China mate! Wait isn't that my laptop there :P
it's called "Orbital Drop-Shock delivery style"
IS IT TOO HARD FOR THEM TO CARRY IT AND PUT IT DOWN A NEARER LOCATION?
in belgium it's like thats too ...
lol. god bless china and its work efficency xD
realy.... in my country the company could go bankrupt if sued for something like this... those bastards literally only deliver the goods...
lol You can almost hear the shit breaking and the cries of displeasure of the consumers.
"Any sufficiently advanced delivery is indistinguishable from dumping."
So thatz how THEY broke my 80 bux glass dildo shipped to my GF. It's not just China fags, it's everywhere.
I guess this is their way of bringing the package to the customers...
What idiocy! If a package is a bomb and they throw it like that, they're history.
Now is time to ship my mega ultra ultimate concentrate nitroglycerine to them.
They deserve every drop of it!
That man should be sacked. And throw him out like those items.
awesome china QUALITY~
their products has the same QUALITY as their service...
that's what you get for cheap stuff lolz XDD
"Hey Ed, what's "FRAGILe" mean?"
-Rugrats
Oh man, that's hi-LARIOUS. Fuckin QUALITY WORK! I've never really had any trouble with my packages from HK or mainland China though... Once, one of my packages was canceled so hard by the central post office that it damn near collapsed one side of the box in, but that's about it. Heh.

Oh well, no big loss.
Clear you cookies in any case like this - always works.
FUCK! I JUST ORDERED SOME ANCIENT CHINESE POTTERY!!!
Don't worry, it was a bootleg anyway.
At least they don't break any guitar.
i Want to kill him
China's work efficiency always impresses me in a way.
NOT.
Did the same thing working for Purolator. Except its more organize in Purolator.
Love how the video title says "Not for the weak hearted".
I Think that this is fake. I doubt that any manager would tolerate having 500+ lawsuits because of one of his careless workers.
If this is true however, I hope that those aren't Xboxes or PS3s...
Cheers;
Nick
welcome to china where no one cares except the customers
I bet you're not even aware about or heard of the China's QUALITY milk with free melamine and the Cardboard buns cases...
The cardboard buns incident was a hoax created by a Beijing reporter looking to gain some spotlight during the entire food and health incidents in China.
They were arrested shortly after and a retraction issued by news broadcasters that showed it.
Enlighten me, I didn't hear about them.
Cheers,
Nick
=.=.....
Once again Artefact has spent another sleepless night looking for ways to shit on China. Good work.

It isn’t really that difficult to make fun of/ridicule/insult China bro/sis.. ~
I could list quite a few ways from the top of my head..
Quick, call Parcel Farce, they could use that guy!
"everyday services"... no wonder chinese quality is thats their standard.
Think of one famous and international brand from China.
Cant?
Exactly...
Lenovo. lol.
Holy shit!
I didn't know it was Chinese.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenovo
I've heard they make quality laptops.
Still though, now I'd never buy...
china suck my balls quality shit
This is normal procedure for most small delivery companies.
LOL china.
And that's why i always avoid purchasing items from Ebay sellers from China.. other than the 90% probability of getting bootlegged stuffs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRFcbWdn360
Related, but at least they throw them into a container and those stuffs landed into the snow instead of concrete..

"Oh, China..." moment, anyone?
China, the mexico of Asia.
Except, that the USA has borrowed a lot of money from China.
No............
That's the Phillipines. Who do you think the illegals maids/gardeners are here?
uhhh, that's like the whole point if you haven't noticed.
Nahhhh~
I can state out some posts disregarding none-china related, but I won't be a smartass and will just admit defeat.
I have yet to receive an even slightly buckled package. No problems since i started ordering from China 4 years ago.
Stop ordering bootleg figures and knock off games from China, cheap weaboo.
Yeah, because everything China has to offer is Weaboo related.
I have seen similar stuff done by airport workers loading/unloading cargos. And no, it wasn't in China, staff all over the world really.
yeah i know some ppl has broken or stollen from their stuff
welll when dooms day come, delivery service will be handled by rocket or canon
i've seen that at airports too =\ personally think that kind of behaviour is disgusting but hey.. wat can u do about it.. complain and never hear from them again

I think Artefact finally got tired of getting impersonated.
That wasn't the half of it...
Better yet, charter an aircraft, or learn to fly and hire one, or buy one and employ a pilot. These are all valid options.
No shit, Sherlock.
*Off topic*
WOOHOO~!! Horde of Anons!! Wut teh hell with this new user interface in Sankaku Complex??
I'm just too lazy to create an account
+1
Me too.
isn't this how every one everyone gets their deliveries? XD
Hm...methinks I'd opt for in-store pickup (but then it'd be delivered to the store in the same way so I'm screwed either way)
Package Boules is fun!
made me laugh..
lol... some of those hit the ground pretty hard
I LOLED... Awesome China quality
I'm still wondering, why they always stress on the word "Chinese Style", or criticize on thing done by Chinese and Japanese or ye'l might pull up to asians, at times i think Europeans are pretty awkward too
japanese do all kinds of wrong shit. Just that this site so completely hostile to china, wether it is justified or not.
And it's quite funny :)
I think you wondered in to the wrong website

Obviously no one in the west remembers their industrial age. Read some Dickens.
Well, on one hand this could just be an isolated example of bad quality employees and service.
On the other hand, given the reputation for quality issues, China really can't afford many bad examples.
China has an unusually high lack of quality control, safety, and health coordination, in addition to a lot of people who just don't give a fuck.
The country is trying so hard to play 'industrial revolution' while completely ignoring any of the things required to play that game properly.
Re: LOL, lead poisoning all over china
Re: LOL, Melamine in Baby Milk
etc..
sites dedicated to Japanese/Far eastern Protoculture.
*Watch Ace Ventura the 1st movie*
Or he was trying to salvage a dog... XD LOLs
LoL XD
I was just watching that movie.
So that's why my xbox wont work.
B*stards.
I was about to do that too!!!
At work when a UPS guy comes and the package is messed up, I always treat him (or her) nice, but I go:
"Looks like it's been Jim-Carried! I'll inspect it first before I sign, mmmkay?"
Wow.... Made in china =D nyahahahaha..
More like broken in China.
You just ruined the pun.
What a pun this would be if there was actual china plates in one of those boxes.
Everytime he through a box on the floor my smile got bigger and bigger. I cracked up at the fifth box before the video was over LMAO!
