Actually, celebrating a fictional character's birthday does mean a lot to the ones who created the character, as well as to the fans. All the hard work, pain and time put into creating just one successful character. Imagine the hundreds of prototypes of her before the final decision. She could have been a failed character and never looked at again but the creators and fans did an awesome job. I can understand why the fans and creators are celebrating. This isn't just a birthday to a fictional character. It is a victory celebration of a successful creation. Happy Birthday,Miss Ritsu Tainaka.
