Actually the sorts of BRS aren't that short, they just look short because her legs are 1/3 of her body which is impossible as human.
Actually... the proportions of the cosplayer are pretty much perfect for a female character like BRS. Her upper legs are the same length as her crotch to nipples, which is the same proportions many anime artists use.

The problem with that flaming thingy is that usually people will add it with photoshop. but when you do that, other people will go "OH PHOTOCHOPPED!"

It was half past two in the morning when I left the bar. My friend, Will, and I were already out of it, trying to make our way home. We looked pathetic to say the least. Will had the stereotypical stuck tie on his forehead, and myself somehow only in my undershirt, as I somehow managed to loose my work jacket.
We aimlessly wandered in the streets, until we somehow managed to get ourselves lost in the maze of alley ways.
"Hey, where the hell are we?" I slurred, stumbling as I walked.
"No...idea man."
It was quiet, with the only sound coming from the whistling wind. Then, a metal pipe fell in front of us. The sudden crash echoed off into the distance. My senses started coming back, so I went up to the pipe and investigated it. The pipe in question turned out to be a strange cylinder device. Not sure what is was.
"Hey...what's that?" Will questioned.
"Dunno, looks like some sort of device or something."
A shadow swooped down upon us, and within a second I saw Will's torso being pierced.
"Shit, Will!"
"Gaghk!"
Will fell onto the ground, and what stood behind him was a girl, with black hair, a shiny black trench coat, and held a sword, dripping with blood. By this point, my drunkness had worn off.
"You fucking bitch!"
I swiftly pulled out my knife and dashed forward to the mysterious girl. She easily dodged my attack, jumping over me and slashed out against me. I turned and held up my knife, catching her blade in the grooves. Using my other hand, I grab a short pocket knife in my pants pocket and threw it at her. The knife barely managed to cut the top layer of skin on her face. A stream of dark red goo slowly dripped down her face and onto the concrete.
Another series of attacks and counterattacks exchanged between us, until she finally spoke.
"That device you have. Give it to me."
"Is it important or something?"
"If you don't hand it to me in the next two seconds, then you grant me the right to end your life."
"Heh, well that was awfully rude. Can't you say please?"
She jumped back and leaped towards me. I tried to move to the side, but she ended up getting a good slice out of my arm. My hand instinctively reached for my wound, trying to hold in my blood that was pouring out. As the mysterious girl was about to finish me off, the sound of police sirens grew in my ears. The girl stopped, and sheathed her sword.
"I'll come back for it later."
And in an instant, she vanished into the shadows.
"Cough!"
Will somehow managed to survive the attack and staggered to get up. Quickly, I lifted him over my shoulder and led us out of the alley.
"You alright, Will?"
"No, it's just a flesh wound. Of course I'm not fucking alright!"
"I'll get us a cab and go to the hospital."
I signaled a taxi onec we reached the street. Giving the driver a hundred, I told him to go to the nearest hospital as fast as he could. As the street lamps passed overhead, I took out the device the girl was so anxious to get back from me.
"What a piece of junk."
Rolling down the window, I threw it out of the taxi. I didn't feel like getting into another adventure tonight.
I picked the device. And then I...

Actually the flame isn't really needed since BRS don't got it the whole time. However, it is easy to be done with blue "Window Color".
Black Rock Shooter is a Rob Liefeld character. Right down to the gigantic stupid gun and the one glowing eye.
The only good thing to ever come out of Liefeld was Deadpool, and only after other writers made 'em awesome. BRS is just stupid as hell.
