Swimsuit episodes are everything wrong with anime nowadays. Why bother with plot advancement or character development when you can just draw girls with less clothes than usual? I don't know what's worse, the way animation studios keep doing this or the way most of the general anime fanbase sucks it up.
Shows like this are the reason I'm ashamed to tell people I'm an otaku. We're forever going to be associated with garbage like this and K-on whether we watch it or not.
Well I believe the manga just recently finished up the tournament, so I'm not surprised with the random fanservice eps... and I'd be interested in what they will do for the next few eps to fill up the gaps
the otaku life = believe 2d girls are real to a certain point (buying large pillows, collecting posters/pics, love lolis(optional but recommended), collect figs, fap for the rest of your life.)
