There WAS something missing; her arms didn't have the black patches from the original design. The difference is not immediately obvious; without checking the original art, all I noticed was that there was too much red for some reason.

Out of all the Touhou cosplays, only the Aya and Cirno were any good. All of the Reimus were pretty bad, as was the Marisa and Remilia. The Sakuya was alright.

I can see all the hard work some put into their cosplays and I applaud them for that, but honestly: if the characters doesn't smile much or at all, don't smile when you're cosplaying! It looks... off.
There is a diffence between costume playing and role playing.

Since the first movie, pretty much every Comiket cosplay collection I've seen has included him. Guess it was just as popular there as it was here. Always seem to be really well done to(I don't care for the franchise).
Biggest surprise out of all of those for me was Friend from 20th Century Boys. But, not exactly hard to pull off. Guy's head is wrapped really weird. Krilling and the Kamen's were all great to. For once, the girls costumes all seemed bland to me. They're never as "In to it" as I feel they should be.
"If I pose in this ridiculous and skimpy costume from some children's show in front of all of these freakish otaku, maybe I can get a real model gig." Is the feeling I always get from seeing these.
