RPG fans have been greatly enthused by the most promising trailers of Xbox 360 RPG Magna Carta II, but with the release of the demo doubts have swiftly been raised…

Wow this game will suck so hard. The graphics suck, and i bet the game will suck, Magna Cata 1 sucked, and this one looks no different.
Given that it's still a demo and any actual work therein is not representative of the finished product, it looks to be visually stunning. That is, IF they do fix all the issues apparent with the demo.
Those pictures are definitely not my ideal. I like my women with legs firmly in their hip joints.
360 vs. PS3, PS3 vs. 360... I thought this topic was about a game, not witch console makes you cream your pants. Really guys can't we talk about game play instead of this childish argument. It dose not prove anything and its really old.
If you like Halo and Gears of War, you probably have a 360. If you like Metal Gear Solid and God of War you probably have a PS3.
The real problem is for people who like Halo and God of War. Two hugeass consoles are a bit of an investment, so it's usually one or the other.
It's not about that actually, it's about 1 game being released on 2 different consoles, whereas one is inferior to the other. Sometimes the 360 version is better, sometimes the PS3 version is better. This makes pretty much everyone rage.

I played Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata on PS2 and it sucked. This second game is sure to be the same. The only thing the first game had going for it is Hyung Tae Kim's art.
Meh. I don't think it looks too bad... this is, after all, what most RPGs does.
We all know preview trailers and game arts can't be expected to be a faithful representation to the full game.
And in the end, if the gameplay and plot are good, I see no problems.
Oh yeah, and I couldn't careless if this game is for PS3 or XBox 360... both consoles have good games and good technical specs.

What's the point in getting so hyped about Aya Hirano in there and some others I've also recognize if the western version won't get Japanese voices. It was already announced by Bandai Namco that there will be no Japanese voices in US version, same crap like Gundam Musou 2.

IF you want JRPG so bad either buy a 360 or shut up and don't expect so much. You've bought the wrong console (even if that is just for the moment). Anyway PS3 has some good games and 360 has some good games so buy which you want but if you want JRPG and you have a PS3 do the smart thing and wait your fucking shoes off or get a 360.
The PS3 is region free though, would be nice to have the JP versions of JRPG. For the people who understand Japanese, though.
With the errors of Magna Carta 1 and the game engine the developers are using... I don't think even the XBox 360 RPG community is holding their breath for this game. The character art looks nice though, hopefully they make an artbook like BlazBlue that might guarantee better sales even if the game sucks xD.
On a side note Sony fanboys you make me ashamed that I spent $500 on a gaming system that I love. I'm sure Xbox 360 owners feel the same as well. All consoles have their problems Delay Station 3, Crash Box Please Fix Me, hell even the Nintendo WiiScam*cough*; it doesn't mean you should boast about the games or even the console, because even though you're a "fan" of the console in the end we all are just consumers buying a product in the developer's eyes, so you're being a fan doesn't prove crap except your own ignorance.

What is it about Japanese developers that won't let them develop a decent RPG for the 360? Good RPGs on the 360 have been done--e.g. Fallout 3 (in b4 NMA)--but so far all the Japanese RPGs have sucked pretty bad. Even Nippon Icchi faltered on that console.
I think it's a sign of immaturity in the Japanese RPG. In the west, non-video-game RPGs are much more common and come in a staggering, experimental variety, whereas Japanese RPGs are much rarer and... well, the first one we got over officially, Maid RPG, was less than inspiring. Methinks Japanese developers need a few rounds of Godlike or Kill Puppies For Satan or Mage: The Awakening/Ascension or Ars Magica or the Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG or...

I have a 46" 1080p TV and Blu-ray looks great, and I have a job so I can spend a couple bucks extra to buy a Blu-ray instead of a DVD.
The PS3 is the best Blu-ray player so it practically paid for it's self just because of that for me, and I get to play some PS2, PS3 games on it as well, even if half the PS3 games aren't using the systems potential being they are 360 ports and ports never work out well.
The 360 was and remains the lower scale, more affordable system of the two and because of that it will always be more popular the way Honda Accords out sell 1 series BMWs. Get to the market first and make a cheaper product that works well enough is always the best business model.

PS3 is a shooters console now. You get your Socom, MAG, Agent, Resistance, KZ2, uncharted etc. 360 has moved to RPG more now with Lost odyssey, Blue dragon, star ocean 4, last remnant, magna carta 2 etc.

I love the PS2. So many great RPGs. Some of them I would love to play on my PS3, but of course Sony refuses to add backwards compat to all. I could careless if the BC wasn't perfect, just so long as I could play all the games I have without them being blurry on my TV.
