What's the fuss? It's just a glamour shot vs a normal shot. I bet real life idols look less glamourous without good makeup.
She's not ugly or anything compared to other cosplay people, and the eyebags(biggest flaw here)can be erased by good makeup.

Isn't it common sense that about 99.9% (repeating of course) of cosplayers are naturally ugly or average looking? I just assume if they look good in a picture it's been shooped in some form.
That's true for the general population as well, surprisingly! Even models get airbrushed and made-up heavily.
And don't get me started on plastic surgery.
Too true, you have to consider the fact that around 97-99% of the female population are ugly or average looking and then the other 3-1% are good looking or really good looking. Then you have to consider how many of these 3-1% actually cosplay and as muteKI said most models on the front of magazines are airbrushed, so its hardly un-surprising this actually happens.
Well, English people tend to be on the ugly side... They also have some pretty jacked teeth for a first-world nation.
Japanese teeth are pretty mess up as well. Why don't all those idol get some braces? I mean, Japan is one of the leading countries in cosmetic surgery for god sakes.

Well you'll have to cut me some slack I live in England for a start where most women look like they were dropped on their faces at birth; I also live in a rather rural area where I fear most people are inbred.
Yeah my estimation for good looking men probably is much lower but I don't really see myself as a expert on rating men's attractiveness.
