Touhou Nendoroid Hakurei Reimu for C76

A Nendoroid rendition of Touhou Project miko heroine Hakurei Reimu will be released at Comiket 76 in August 2009.
Mika-tan of Goodsmile Company updated her blog yesterday with more photos of the figurine in action. Nendoroid Reimu will come with interchangeable face part, hand parts, and props that let her banish youkai or enjoy tea. Her stand platform is modeled after her yin-yang orbs.
Perhaps it makes the efforts of earlier fanmade Touhou Nendoroids for naught? Not that fans will complain, assuming they can obtain one…
For those who can’t make it to C76, Mika-tan mentioned that other methods for procuring Nendoroid Reimu will be announced on July 23rd – this will include online ordering, though international availability is not clear.

They aren't typically that expensive, though Touhou merchandise does tend to be overpriced so who knows.

Recalling the sucker who paid out around $500 for a set of Touhou plush dolls at a con when their combined retail value was only $150, heck yeah.
They are limited to be fair, but yes, overpriced. That was the going rate on YAJ as I recall at the time though.

Actually I'm under the impression that this figure will not be categories as Good Smile's release. They would probably be labeled as "doujin work", but we all know it make no difference as long as the figure is by same people/producers that work at Good Smile.
I wouldn't be surprised if ZUN got one for free/bought one.

Oh! They've finally released her! Last I saw, they had just made the announcement about her on the official site- complete with teasing silhouette. She looks great!
I certainly wouldn't object to having a Reimu if I could get my hands on her. (Unfortunately, that probably isn't too likely...) I wonder if they'll make some of the other cast members in the future. That would be neat.

Bringing up Cirno being stupid is like beating a dead horse, and doing it through use of IOSYS shows your place in the fandom. There's a reason I strive to not mention IOSYS when I do my Touhou panels at conventions.

Why would it be wrong to say something even ZUN acknowledges about the character? It's not a joke nor a fan meme if even the author says the character is an idiot by definition.
Saying Cirno is stupid is alright in moderation, however it tends to get annoying when you see endless amounts of "XD WHAT AN IDIOT!", "BAKA BAKA", etc in relation to MADs featuring her and such.
I'm well aware that ZUN started everything by labeling her as a moron in PoFV's manual, but she is still not the dumbest Touhou out there.
