Hatsune Miku’s 3D incarnation in her popular game debut on the PSP, Project Diva, has been revealed to be based on a real flesh and blood loli, in the form of 13-year-old young idol Yui Ogura.

No sooner had this news sunk in than Yui herself created a MAD of herself dancing Miku-style and uploaded it to NicoNico Douga; you can see all this below.

Yui Ogura herself is a 13-year-old actress/young idol contracted by the Up Front Style! agency, and has appeared in several Japanese television programs.

She reports her hobbies include walking her beloved dog, shopping and karaoke, and that she is a talented dancer, adept in ballet, tap dancing and jazz dancing. She enjoys all manner of sports and her favorite word is “arigatou”; doubtless you get the picture, though for those interested in seeing more of her, her site beckons.

It seems the designers had a special understanding of their audience and of Miku moe when they had this young lady provide her motions; some commentators even mention seeing something “loli-ish” about her movements…
