Now, I haven't watched any of these new Eva movies yet, but a thought immediately comes to mind upon seeing this:
Each one of the Eva pilots has some effed up, traumatic past or serious mental issues or all of the above. That leads me to question what this bubbly piece of ass is doing smiling and showing off her rack. Perhaps she's really a serial killer with a split personality?

She is. Mari has two different plugsuits - a traditional one (the pink) and the green one that you're referring to. Having not seen it yet myself, I'm not completely sure how this is justified in the movie (except that Mari-sue is a SUPER SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE character :|) ..I'm sure there's SOME reason.
She uses the green one in Unit 05 which requires a special interface becaus of its many mechanical parts, and the pink one in unit 2. But other characters ( i.e. Asuka) are also shown wearing other plugsuits when they get into other evas.
Not her ._. I definitely prefer her dark green costume >_>
So I'm not the only one who liked the green one better... But hey, Mari can even make pink look badass. The whole thing is screaming "I'm a girl with large boobs who wears girly, pink clothes. So what? I still kick major Ass."

Sorry, but for me this image has some unexpected fail. Girls with glasses are hot. Girls in plugsuits are hot. However you put the two together and they cancel each other out. Kind of like pouring good wine on a Pizza and then topping Chinese food with it. Also, I see she's going to have the same issue that Chun Li has, where the fan art is hotter than the official art.
You're not making much sense here. I'm pretty sure moe effects are cumulative and that they do not cancel each other out.

Rebuils was made by the same ppl who made the original Eva, and Anno even said that Rebuild was to be EVA as "it was intended to be" so shut up about professionalism, you know that Anno always has and allways will put his whole soul into EVa. Mari didn't ruin anything. She is badass, awesome and has an unique, non-stereotypical personality. Eva allways lacked a character like her.

It's an understandable sentiment, but no one is taking the original away. It's always going to be there. Hell, there's already the TV series and End of Evangelion, so what's one more in the mix? Each has merits and downfalls of their own and while comparison is inevitable, it's perhaps better to give it a chance and see if it can stand on its own two feet first, before it comes to that. It's much the same thing with horror remakes. Of course I'm certain Rebuild will end up being better than the garbage many of them become.
I just hope the character dies soon, seh just looks out of place, she lacks that traumatized look all other pilots had.
Tell me one thing, i always thought EVA´s can only be piloted by ONE Person, so why is she be able to control EVA02?

They can be piloted by pretty much whomever they are set to be piloted by as long as there is compatibility. Kowaru for example hopped right into unit 02 after Asuka lost her mind at the end of the series.
Well, it seems only to apply to EVA 02, because the others are not compatible to anyone as far as i know.
I forgot to add, since its a rebuild of the series, anything seems to be possible.
Rei also said a couple of times that she could also pilot Unit 2^^ in the ORIGINAL.
As I got it, everyone who can pilot an Eva can pilot ANY eva, but the synch rate is higher if their Mom is inside.
