This manga is actually quite good story wise. Sure a few ecchi moments here and there but they're used effectively for the most part...although onanism is definitely not something I expected to see. However she is growing up so I suppose this would be quite possible.
This like Kiss x Sis and one or two others is the closest possible to hentai without actually being such. I personally am fond of the author of this series mainly for fighting against the norm and taking the controversial route. The best thing is that the author is a woman so it would be quite difficult to get it banned by saying it is demeaning towards women when a woman wrote it! Still the plot is quite good which is unexpected for this type of manga...

On the outside, it does just look like some loli candy type anime, but in reality it does have a decent story. I like it for the fact it explore the issue that kids are given a lot less credit of the things they know.

I'd say Kodomo no Jikan is a medium tease, whereas Kiss x Sis is a hardcore tease.
You guys should have seen "Champion Red Ichigo". It is a manga magazine that have NOT been label as for adult and it serialize a whole bunch of manga which are borderline close to hentai, with quite a lot of sex scenes (but with the lack of drawing of the particular low body parts in details to dodge the bullets).

I am way ahead of this chapter (can be read in Sahadou website). The story is still interesting as we learn about each characters' problems, life, etc. Too bad Seven Sea would not publish this series in the U.S. because of the "sexual" content towards children. I believe they did not bother to delve themselves into the story in order to understand the real situations behind these characters' dark past. Sure, the content may look overly done, but it's the story that counts the most.

I wouldn't say sued. The loop hole for the protect act makes it so sexual depictions of minors is acceptable if it is artistically relevant. She make good points with her VERY true to life characters. My 3 year old nephew runs around humping random women on the street shouting "stick your finger in my ass!" My eldest niece likes to suck on hotdogs and arbitrarily straddle/rub herself on things. This isn't even counting the pyschological problems we (intentionally) gave them. I've been an uncle since I was 6. I know most people, not just myself, were dirty little bastards when they were kids.

Posting just because it's a Kojika article, I love the manga, I can never get the next chapter soon enough, I just wish there will be more Aoki x Rin scenes like when they got trapped in the gym storage room, Kaworu Watashiya is a guru, she really knows how to draw alluring poses,her depictions of females are really enticing...
I think this manga excels at light hearted comedy and borderline taboo yet captivating ecchiness, I appreciate the drama but in small doses, there have been some issues like the school bullying, that, while current, are not really what I enjoy in the manga.
I think this manga may have been the turning point (and point of no return) for many lolicons, I know it was for me.
It's pretty much the definition of loli.
