    Well it belongs into one of the best mangas with great sotry and artwork.

    People calling it pedo or just blind people anyway,who can only see that as something that bothers them instead of the whole wonderfull story.

    It was never released. That's probably a left over placeholder for the manga preorders that was never removed after the cancellation.

    Seven Seas Entertainment announced that they have canceled their American release of the loli fan-service manga "Kodomo no Jikan," called "Nymphet" for the English version. The announcement came mere hours after Seven Seas said they were putting the title on hold despite its initial publication date of May 29.

    Sadly I would have to agree with you 'Castronaut. KNJ is a great manga with a great story, but even if it had been released it probably wouldn't have made any sales (or very few). The witch-hunters and moralists would have ripped this to shreds and thus given the the manga/anime market a serious black eye. Or equally worse, it would have been censored to the point that it wouldn't even be worth the effort to read it. For me, KNJ poses an interesting question. What defines maturity: Age or personality?. Just because your older, doesn't necessarily make you mature. Also, you have people who sexual experience with maturity. Just because someone has alot of sexual experience, it doesn't mean they are mature. Sorry for getting on a soap-box, but I'm just making a point. If some people would get their heads out of their asses, and examine this manga more seriously, they might understand the point of the story.

    Posting just because it's a Kojika article, I love the manga, I can never get the next chapter soon enough, I just wish there will be more Aoki x Rin scenes like when they got trapped in the gym storage room, Kaworu Watashiya is a guru, she really knows how to draw alluring poses,her depictions of females are really enticing...

    I think this manga excels at light hearted comedy and borderline taboo yet captivating ecchiness, I appreciate the drama but in small doses, there have been some issues like the school bullying, that, while current, are not really what I enjoy in the manga.

    I think this manga may have been the turning point (and point of no return) for many lolicons, I know it was for me.

    The fascist prudes got the manga banned (effectively) in the US by making a ruckus before this part of the manga was even made, so never underestimate the power of a prude who can't tolerate people with different tastes.

    I'm sure this is on Agnes Chan's list of things to ban if she gets her way. After all, gradeschoolers don't masturbate, do they? :P

    On the outside, it does just look like some loli candy type anime, but in reality it does have a decent story. I like it for the fact it explore the issue that kids are given a lot less credit of the things they know.

    Read the English wikipedia entry.

    The short answer is that the publisher dropped it because no vendors want to stock it. Before you say amazon and ebay I refer you to the rapelay fiasco.

    Wait they banned this in the US? If you could please point me to the article and any information about this I would appreciate it. I wish to examine it for next time.

    This manga is actually quite good story wise. Sure a few ecchi moments here and there but they're used effectively for the most part...although onanism is definitely not something I expected to see. However she is growing up so I suppose this would be quite possible.

    This like Kiss x Sis and one or two others is the closest possible to hentai without actually being such. I personally am fond of the author of this series mainly for fighting against the norm and taking the controversial route. The best thing is that the author is a woman so it would be quite difficult to get it banned by saying it is demeaning towards women when a woman wrote it! Still the plot is quite good which is unexpected for this type of manga...
