Now that was fucking epic. NERV has finally met their match in the SOS Brigade, though it does seem to leave a cliffhanger with Gendo smirking...
Poor Taniguchi, he had to pick the wrong side, lol.
It would be even more brilliant if they manage to mesh in dialogue from Lucky Star as well should they ever make the next installment, as seiyuus from both series appear in Lucky Star. Well, mostly Haruhi seiyuus, while Gendo's seiyuu Tachiki Fumihiko does the voice of ALL minor male characters in Lucky Star.
I'm truly happy to have seen something of this quality.
I am an avid fan of both series and am happy to say that the joining of the two works SO very well.
