One is a commercial for Evangelion, one is a commercial for Utada Hikaru’s Beautiful World.

The American trailer made me want to watch Evangelion until I remembered that Evangelion was completely boring.

The Japanese trailer caused me to buy Beautiful World on ITunes.

  I liked the American version more…the blu-ray version looks like the artists just didn’t know when to stop hitting it with the blur tool. Though, if they did remove the constant blurring effects, the art for blu-ray would look better.

  The American one is better. The Japanese ones assume that you already know what the series is about. Honestly, if I didnt know anything about Eva, seeing the Japanese trailers would not make me want to whatsoever whereas with the American one, I at least get some idea of what the hell its about. + I fucking hate “Fly Me to The Moon”
