From vampires, fairies, Magic, and even feminism (Dirty-Pair FTW) all have their colorful and extremely imaginative depictions in Japanese fantasy now. Even some of studio Minori's own titles has such Western fantastical creatures as Elves!

And yet, in the midst of all this seemingly embrace of western folklore, we still see such mind-numbing displays of xenophobia ...why?

Without the frequently-damned influence of Western-culture, the Japanese would still produce such beautiful works of art as "The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife"

If anything, Tolkien should sue studio Minori for Copyright-Infringement ...if he was still Alive that-is :P

The troubles came FROM the US to start with. Japanese eroge company had to deal with it, and in my opinion that was the best they could do.

Because the truth is, you guys are totally powerless against those feminists. What have you guys done to protect the eroges you liked so much ? Nothing, just cursing Japanese for banning you from their website, not even able to see that the fault came from your side.

EOCS is doing the standard routine for business reacting to complaints. If the EOCS had reason to think that not only their customer base but the Japanese public in general would back them in a fight over selling this stuff then they would fight. Obviously they don't think that, and rightly so....the Japanese public would abandon them.

There's 2 groups of people at fault here:

1. The Japanese public who have no problem with eroding freedom. How long until Nabokov's "Lolita" is removed from sale?

2. The Western public who have no problem with a group of hate-mongering feminists speaking as their representatives and making demands of Japan. We planted the seed of feminism...now we reap our rewards.
