This Clannad MAD has attained some popularity on Nico’s recent anime charts, combining surreal imagery from the beloved fantasy drama with the beautiful ef: a tale of melodies’ OP, Ebullient Future.
Part of its popularity comes from the fact that much of the animation is hand drawn by the MAD’s creator, something not readily apparent at first sight…

i dont know about that, Clannad After Story's op transferred more emotion to me, especially with Lia's song. But all in all, this guy needs a job at a anime studio asap =).

I really enjoyed both Clannad and the ef visual novels myself, although I didn't get around to posting this since I somehow kept not seeing it on Nico's rankings.

Still like the german text in the original better. That's because I'm able to understand what it means. ^^
... so much Engrish in it it hurts the eyes. But by focusing on the drawing instead, it's very very well done.

You need to register to watch it in Nico. That's why Artefact worked hard to get embedding rights, so that you and all the other poor souls without a Nico account can watch them from here. If you just want to watch it in a bigger window, use the Sankaku Player.
Wow. I can't really describe accurately how I feel after seeing this. I didn't even realize I was crying until after it was done. I mean... just wow.
I have seen neither series and this took my breath away. I don't care if others are saying 'This has been around quite some time', thank you for sharing it with the rest of us who use nico for nothing but vocaloids.
