Rei only looks masculine because of the muscle structure of her shoulders, a bit more angular than that of most girls. Also, her chin is a bit more squarish than norm.
But I think this suits her well, considering that Rei gives off that “weak but still strong” kind of vibe. The visible collar bones show how slim (skinny = weak) she seems but the strong jaw suggests a hidden inner strength.
All in all, wonderful cosplay! =D
